Reflection
Touch me and see. A ghost does not have flesh and bones. Then he eats fish.
The Resurrection is not escape from the body. It's the body redeemed. Jesus has scars and an appetite. This is Christianity's most radical claim: the physical world is not a prison. It's the arena of salvation. God took a body, died in a body, and rose in a body. Your body - the one you're in right now - is destined for the same.
In your twenties, the culture sends contradictory signals about bodies: worship them, exploit them, transcend them. Jesus says: touch them and see. Bodies are real. Bodies matter. Bodies will be raised.
